GUGO Jr. is based on the premise that youth and families need to be heard. Past choices must be understood and not devalued. They learn the importance of needs identification and goal acquisition through a non-violent pro-social framework. GUGO Jr. Credible Messengers help youth and families gain the capacity for critical self-reflection, decision making, conflict resolution skills that lead to greater self-efficacy and stronger communities.
